Grow the movement
Since 2016, Now Teach has grown to a network of over 500 teachers. Each year, we receive a large number of applications from people who tell us, "I met a Now Teacher at a school experience event and I was inspired to follow in their footsteps." You almost certainly do not think of yourself as an inspiration to your peers, but we know for a fact that you are.
So, we need your help. We know you sing our praises whenever somebody asks about your journey into the classroom. But if we are to grow as a charity, we need you to actively speak to people you believe should be teaching.
They can come from almost any walk of life. Banking, mining, health, it does not really matter. What we look out for is whether they know something about something and whether they possess a passion to learn how to teach. If you are concerned about eligibility, more information is available here.
We know we are asking you to go out on a limb. So we have worked with our funders to supply a £250 gift in return for every referral who gains a teacher training placement this year. We can provide vouchers for either:
- School resources
- Guest speakers
If you know someone who would be a great fit, please let us know. Let us know if you’ve already referred someone to start in September 2023 – we’ll include you too
