Last month, Now Teach announced that the DfE had decided to not re-procure the Career Change Change programme.

The immediate impact of this decision is that there is currently no funding to recruit and then support more experienced people into teacher training after September 2024.

Today we share a letter signed by people from across different sectors – education, business, careers and longevity – united in their understanding of career changers’ value to education and their call for the Education Select Committee’s recommendation to be taken forward, that Now Teach’s funding is restored.

You can support us by sharing the letter on LinkedIn, reposting to show your network that your support career changers to teaching.
