We’re delighted to announce our new partnership with Teach First, working together to attract and support more experienced professionals as they make the transition into teaching.

This partnership will bring together our shared expertise:

  • Teach First’s Ofsted-rated outstanding school-centred initial teacher training (SCITT) – developing high-quality teachers who make a lasting impact in their local community
  • Now Teach’s nine-year experience in inspiring career changers to join the profession and supporting experienced professionals to transition into teaching with purpose and confidence

Career changers training with Teach First’s SCITT delivery partners in 2025/26 will get access to tailored sessions created by Now Teach. These sessions are designed to support their move into teaching, boost their confidence, and help them make a real difference for their students.

“We are thrilled to be widening our reach through this partnership and supporting more career changers to access the support and expertise we know helps them remain and thrive. Changing career is no mean feat but through this new partnership we know that more career change teachers will be confident in their decision and able to have an impact on their pupils and schools longer term.” - Graihagh Crawshaw-Sadler, CEO, Now Teach

“Our school-centred initial teacher training (SCITT) is a school-based route into teaching for people who want to make a difference in their local community. Nearly 30% of our secondary SCITT trainees are career changers so we’re delighted to be partnering with Now Teach to support more career changers into teaching. The valuable professional skills and life experience they bring into the classroom have a positive impact on the children, schools and their wider communities.” - Amy Lingfield, Executive Director for Education Partnerships, Teach First

Together, we’re committed to ensuring that people with valuable life and professional experience can thrive as teachers, enriching schools and inspiring young people across the country.

This partnership marks an exciting step forward in our shared mission - helping talented individuals find new purpose through teaching and strengthening the education system for future generations.
