From our approach to flexible working, to the steps in application process, find answers to common questions about our recruitment process.
Our roles are primarily remote, but we do value the opportunity to come together regularly, so have co-working days at least once per month in London. We provide you with equipment to work comfortably from any location and all team members can access co-working spaces across the UK.
We support all and any of our team to work flexibly and we offer TOIL (time off in lieu). About one-third of our team work part-time.
We request a CV and cover letter from all applicants. In addition, we ask you to complete an optional diversity form that supports our diversity monitoring. The second stage is usually to submit short video responses to find out more about you and your interest in Now Teach and the role. You will then be invited to competency-based interview virtually or in person and would usually complete an exercise that is relevant to the role. There may be a second interview depending on the role. We value diversity in our team and are continually reviewing our process and policies to ensure we create an environment that welcomes and supports a diverse workforce. In recent years we have reviewed our job packs, hiring processes and recruitment channels to help with this. All of our staff have completed unconscious bias training, and this is part of the onboarding process. We have also had training sessions with organisations such as Mindful Equity and DiversEd for both our team and our cohort to ensure we are fully conscious of the issues and stretch our thinking. We also offer inclusive benefits such as mental health and wellbeing support through our employee assistance programme and wellbeing champions. All of our managers receive mental health training to better support their team. We regularly survey our team to check how we’re doing and benchmark with other organisations to see where we can improve.
